AS PART OF SPIRIT FM’s SPRING INTO CASH COMPETITION KEVIN KING INVITED THE GOOD PEOPLE OF CHICHESTER TO JOIN HIM ON THE CATHEDRAL GREEN TO TAKE PART IN SPACE HOPPER RACING TO WIN £50 AND LITERALLY SPRING INTO CASH!

On April Fools Day, Kevin was pranking West Sussex! We told you that a movie company called "1A PRoductions In Liverpool" (1 APRIL - get it??!!) were looking for people to feature in a new big budget movie filming on the downs this summer. We were particularly interested in finding people who could do accents, who could end up with a lucrative speaking role! Our fake company was inundated with calls, and Kevin (in his best scouse accent!), called some of the applicants back to see how their accents were.

On February the 29th (leap day!) Tania Palmer from Felpham was picked to 'take the leap' - and go down on one knee to propose to her partner, Neil Hanson. Kevin was there to witness the proposal, and presented Tania with a £950 engagement ring from L Guess Jewellers of Littlehampton, and a night's stay at the White Swan Hotel in Arundel

On February the 20th, Spirit FM sent Kim Collins from Chichester off to the Brit Awards - the biggest event in the British music calendar! Kim was one of the hundreds of listeners who voted online for the Best British Single award.
She was picked out by Kevin King as our winner, and received a pair of tickets for the big awards show at Earls Court - plus hotel accomodation for the night and return travel....including being taken there in a black stretch limo!!
