Brian Conley stars as the fast talking con artist Harold Hill in the wonderful Music Man by Meredith Wilson. Featuring songs such as ’76 Trombones’ this uplifting musical is back this afternoon at 2.00pm and again tonight at 7.30pm and tickets are priced from £12 to £36
Minerva Studio Chichester
And running in conjunction with the play ‘Collaboration’, tonight sees another preview of Robert Harwood’s play Taking Sides. This is the post war story of the interrogation of a famous German conductor and Nazi sympathizer. Tickets are £19 and the play starts at 7.45pm
Alexandra Theatre @ Regis Centre
Set in a church hall in the 1980’s, in a world of leg-warmers and lycra, ‘Stepping Out’ charts the complicated lives of seven women, one man, their teacher and pianist at a weekly tap class. The stakes are raised when the Mavis Turner Tappers are asked to take part in a charity gala. Tickets are £10 and the play that’s being staged by the Bognor Regis Drama Club starts at 8.00pm
Windmill Theatre Littlehampton
Good luck to the Sherry Lorraine School Of Dance as they stage their Summer Variety Spectacular featuring dancing, singing and acrobatics. The show starts at 7.30pm and contact the box office for tickets availability and prices.

Friday
One of the oldest traditions in Sussex, the Ebernoe Horn Fair and cricket match takes place in the village of Ebernoe that you’ll find 4 miles north of Petworth. The cricket begins at 11am with this year’s match sees Ebernoe play Bury on the pitch with a road in the middle of it! Also fun fair, skittles, licensed bar, hot air balloons and the world famous ‘Dip The Lady’
Get set for a variety of workshops and activities taking place at the Lavant Memorial Hall. The Fun Day, which is free to all, is aimed at families and young people who live in and round the village, and includes a range of workshops and games with opportunities to try out various play and art related activities and taster sessions. The fun starts at 11am and goes on to 2pm
Saturday
The firefighters charity ball and disco will be held at The Assembly Hall, Worthing from 7.30pm to midnight. Tickets are £15 which includes the entertainment, casino chips and refreshments. Tickets are available from Tim Eady at Worthing Fire Station.
The South Downs Light Railway at the Wyevale Garden centre are holding a ‘Teddy Bears Picnic’ and all children who bring their bear will receive a free ride. Lots of family fun and space to enjoy a picnic.
Mount Noddy Animal Centre have their Summer Fayre and Fun Dog Show. Open to any rescue dog, registration starts at 10.30 with judging at 12 midday and lots going on through the day.
Family Fun weekend at the RSPB Nature Reserve, Pulborough starting at 10 am (and Sunday too) Lots of family fun all day.
Members of the Chichester & District Society of Model Engineers have organised a special family fun weekend to mark Winnie’s 100th birthday with a 10 ¼ gauge steam locomotive. The Society located on Blackberry Lane, just off the Bognor Road (opposite Whyke Lane). Entry cost £3 adults and £2 children. Free parking at Portfield School.
Sunday
TANGMERE 90 will be an all day celebration of the 90th anniversary of the Royal Air Force and also of the establishment of Tangmere as a military airfield. It will be held at the Tangmere Military Aviation Museum on Sunday July 27th from 10am.
The event will feature flying displays by a Spitfire and a Harvard aircraft, an aviation art exhibition, military vehicles, open cockpits, live music, re-enactment artists, stalls, talks plus all the Museum’s normal attractions.
